DD - God's Love Ball

God loves us with a perfect love (ie. I John 4:18+19)...  a love that looks beyond our limitations and inadequacies.  When we don't recognize those limitations and inadequacies, He allows circumstances in our lives to show them to us.  Yet His perfect Divine love is still there.  All He asks of us is to love Him with all our heat, mind, and soul.  Then what?  To love on another as ourselves.   Notice how He does not either emphasize nor neglect love of oneself.  Just as Hi loves us as we are, we need to accept and even love ourselves as we are (with those imperfections we know are there... allowing God to work on them), so that we in turn can love others.... love one another as God wants us to... His way, not our own.  "We love Him because He first loved us."  God starts the ball rolling with his love for us.  As we learn to love Him in return, we desire to follow His commandments;  accept His perfect love for us by learning to love ourselves as He created us to be; and then loving others just as they are and showing them God's love for them too.

So those difficult circumstances or trials we see or feel in our lives are just part of God's love ball.  What we don't often see is God also using these times to make the ball grow larger and larger, bringing more precious souls into the Kingdom of God.
