O Priest (one who intercedes) - King (one who rules over) - one who has dominion over - Genesis 1:26-28, 9:1-3, Psalm 8:6, Hebrews 2:6
THE BALANCE - Two-foldness of Divine Truth
We have learned and are walking in the authority systems that God has placed in our lives - legitimate authority, temporary authority, advisors, cover people, etc.
Now the circle is being completed. We are a kingdom of priests- we are His HOly nation. We are a people being prepared for the Lord. Exodus 19:6, 28:12, Revelation 1:6,7, 5:10, I Peter 2:5-9. God's principle is throughout the entire Bible. God is training us and prepping us to 'be like Him'. We are made in His image, to be the head and not the tail, to lend and not to borrow, to minister and not to be ministered unto... to be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led... to say and to be and to do.
Some people have a 'fear' of freedom. They are comfortable to always have people hear God for them. They shy away from responsibility, accountability and love to place the blame elsewhere. It is so freeing to say "I was wrong, I am sorry", take the blame and then place it on Jesus. Cast all your care on Him, God laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
God's Truth is always balanced--we, His people are often off center. As we learn new things from the old Word that becomes primary in our life and then we tent to be extreme. Ask the Lord to teach you the other side and to help you be ready to receive it and to obey Him. He is faithful to do so.
For instance: 'forgiveness' and cleansing and reconciliation must be worked through thoroughly with God and others. This takes time and effort and pouring over His word. Then we must get on to the 'other' side of 'forgiveness' and celebrate the forgiveness of sins, rejoice, have a party, let God turn your mourning into joy and dancing.
(we have lists of topics on commitment and relationship with a holy God and others)
Assuming that we have sanctified the Lord God in our hearts, have a fresh-up-to-date commitment to the Lord, have gotten the Rhema and are walking the 'light', we are ready for this teaching. You that have ears to hear, then hear.
Isn't it about time that we 'grew up', initiated actions, spoke the truth, in love, be witnesses, watchmen and spokesmen for the Lord?
We must stop: being affected by the behaviour of others, being under the circumstances or situation, backing off, being where the buck stops, receiving destructive and negative messages, being a victim, a kvetch, schlepping through life. ( lets talk about it) *you break the cycle of: abuse, dependency, follower...
Secular Humanism says
I can do all things
I am master of my fate
I am a god-and will not worship another....
Spirit-filled Christian says
Jesus Christ is Lord-Ownership of Him over me
I can do all things-thought Christ
I will live my life under God's control
God says
This is your life-believer-now, live it. Galatians 2:20
Man, you are in charge of My entire creation - Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 9, I Timothy 4:4, You must rule over it and be fruitful and increase, Genesis 9:7
I have given man all of this, it is for man to enjoy, Psalm 104, to have pleasure in, Psalm 16:11, and to create and invent new ways of increase and multiply, Matthew 25:15... So, go, grow, invest it and I will make opportunities for you.
God says
Go destroy the enemy
Go in boldly and take some of it's fruit.
God into tall the world, I am with you always.
Accept your inheritance, your ordination and I will increase your faith, I will show you how to love, I impart my Peace unto you.
Make your plans and expect Me to bless them, Proverbs 16:3,9, II Chronicles 1:1, John 14:14 *do not be a forgetful hearer.Know well: God's Word, His plan, His Purpose-for me/you for the world, what He is looking for, Luke 9:62, Titus 2:13, Hebrews 12: 2,15, II Peter 3:12, Jude 21, Psalm 33:13, Song of Solomon 6:10, James 1:25, Daniel 12:5, Revelation 4:1, 6:8, 14:1, II Corinthians 4:18, John 4:23.

We who are created in His Image must have a plan also, under God... daily, hourly, and moment by moment; checking in with Him often. 1. seek counsel of the Lord, 2. say only what He wants us to say and do. II Chronicles 18 v 4,13 3. Cry out to the Lord, trust Him with your troubles and He will deliver you II Chronicles 18:31, Psalm 50:15, 23, Nahum 1:7... Proverbs 16:3,9, 3:5,6 and Psalm 37:4,5
By reason of use- Hebrews 5:12-14- being in the Word of God much, using the gift of 'discerning the spirits' moving in the Holy Spirit and being Spirit-led, we can know, that we know, that we know. We can move in God's authority, have that 'thus saith the Lord', speak the Word with power and have our briefest speech to a greater or lesser degree in all that concerns us.
*Be awake

*do not be afraid to ask for help--from God and others
As we accept our ordination, take charge and become Teachers, Servant/Leaders in the Body of Christ, let us then welcome the responsibility and the privilege King James Psalm 68:6 that goes with it... James 3:1, Matthew 23:8, I Peter 5:3, Luke 6:37. God holds us and all things together, Colossians 1:17,18, Psalm 104:5.
Caleb was given the Mountain- and at age 85 he took it-driving out the Anakims, climbing the Mt. knowing God was with Him. He took charge , Numbers 13, Joshua 1:3, Numbers 14, Joshua 14:11-15.. God gives=we take... Psalm 104:28.
(other teachings on 'knowing our authority' ' say the Word' 'traits of Satan' belefits of Calvary, gifts and fruit of the Spirit, etc. are helpful. -also, Fear of God vss. fear of man etc.
'Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done.' is our prayer/. God wants His Kingdom rule in our lives. When we see this balance being disturbed, we better had 'take charge' under God. Demons hang around in unclean places, Mark ch, 5, I Corinthians 10:10, Psalm 101-they group up. We must not let that happen. Ask God what to do and say and pray and then do it!!! Either we are at war with Satan or in his service... Study and learn how far you can go, then move. Do not be presumptuous or go in your own strength. We move in the might strength of the Lord. We give our Faithful God permission to stop us at any time. We get to know Him and His move and what He desires and we cooperate and become co-laborers with God.

*when you see
-injustice
-oppression
-tyranny
As we lose the 'fear of man', we are more able to obey God more clearly, without fear of reprisal and being misunderstood... we can risk that... Leaders can say, 'follow me as I follow Jesus', without fear of pride, but rather in the strictest obedience. Know that Satan is maimed and he is terminal. God's orders are imminent, relevant, for His glory and our good--and to be instantly obeyed... So, take charge.
Stop and do a Selah!!! Have you been limping through life? Are you ready to initiate--to call the moves--to have less maybe's--to practice what God preaches??? Song of Solomon 8:5
The secrets of the Lord are in His Word. His name is Yahweh-I Am--I will be what I will be--that is His perogitive. He calls for total commitment to Him if we are to be used of Him. We are given warnings in His Word about our behaviour and conduct. We are not to self-disclose easily or show our naked feelings to all people. We are to have control over our own spirits, not to eat of doubt, to guard our emotions and our hearts and minds=the springs of life within us, the living energy He gives us. To watch out for crooked speech, to be careful how we think because our lives are shaped by our thoughts==Proverbs 4:20-27, Proverbs 3:19-35, 22:17-28...Words of Wisdom.
As we release our children to be their own persons under the control of the Lord and we are pleased to see the mature decisions they make, so too, our Heavenly Father wants us to be perfect (mature) as He is. We become mature as we say 'Thus saith the Lord' and rest our case, in Him.
Have we obeyed God's commands to us to take responsibility for our own spiritual lives? We must be in control of our lives, actions, bodies, souls and spirits. Now that we are seeing this truth, shall we talk it over with God and ask Him to show us how to get going?
Scriptures to help us get going - Proverbs 2:4, Matthew 13:44,45, Romans12:1,2, I Corinthians 6:12-20, II Corinthians 2:14-18, II Corinthians 7:1, Romans 6, Phillipians 3:7,8, Proberbs 3:14-18, ch. 8--
Now, really hear what God is saying:
II Chronicles 7:14, I Thessalonians 5:19-22-My people shall humble themselves
I John 1:7-9- You confess your sins-you walk in the light
Romans 12:1,2- You present your body...
Jude 20,21 - You build up yourselves-keep yourselves
II John 8 - look to yourselves
I John 5:21 - keep yourselves from idols
I Peter 1:14, 2:13 - submit yourselves to every ordinance.
James 4:4-10 - You draw nigh to God - you resist the devil...
Hebrews 13:3,7 - you submit to those over you in the Lord.
II Thessalonians 3:6,7 withdraw yourselves
Ephesians 5 - submit yourselves to one another...
speak to yourselves in psalms, hymns etc...
Romans 6 - yield yourselves - your members
We decide to Praise the Lord - or to use our tongues to say negative and destructive things...
Y O U and me, O Christian will answer to God-- we can not blame our great grandmothers or Satan or our circumstances or preachers or teachers or churches. I stand or fall according to what I do with the talent... MY talent is the gift of life that was given to me by God. What am I doing with it? Matthew 25-14-30 - He put in me a 'living soul', talents, skills and abilities. He trusted me with this treasure. Some day He will settle the account with me. What have I done with His investment- namely, my life? Am I using the best of my energy, time, life for God? The quality of life He gave me can best bring dividends when I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, strength and mind. One of the servants, v. 20, doubled his investment and was commended. And, he was put in charge of something big... and he shared His Master's delight. The 2nd doubled his and so also was rewarded. The 3rd hid is talent, buried it and presented it- fruitless, barren and unproductive back to the Master...
use it do not abuse or misuse
go, grow invest it
Think on these things. Talk to God. Talk to a loving friend and intercessor. Pray about this. Take forgiveness, forgive yourself and cheer up, let's get going. It is never too late with God... I John 4:4
I John 5:4,5
